On 16th July 2025, the Minister of Science and Higher Education approved the document ‘Policy on open access to publicly funded research data’.

The policy aims to set the direction for the development of open science in Poland and defines objectives and recommendations for the sharing of research data generated with public funds. The document is addressed to scientific and higher education institutions, as well as research funding agencies.
