We invite everyone to the celebration of the 10th Library Night, which will take place on Friday, October 11th. 

SUM Branch Library in Katowice-Ligota (Katowice, 18 Medyków Street) from 5:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.:

• SUM BOARD GAMES MEETINGS - playing board games in the reading room;
• game "Diagnosis" - spin the wheel of fortune and draw a disease to diagnose (Polish only);
• VR Headset - opportunity to use VR simulator technology;
• for first-time visitors - guided tours of the branch, assistance with signing up to the library and navigating the library catalogue.

SUM Branch Library in Zabrze-Rokitnica (Zabrze-Rokitnica, 19 Jordana Street) from 5:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.:

• guided tours, discussion of librarian activities and possibility to borrow books;
• anatomical model exhibition;
• workshops to create ‘medical’ jewellery and bookmarks;
• board games;
• the opportunity of entering the world of virtual reality, thanks to VR simulators (from 8:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.).

SUM Branch Library in Sosnowiec (Sosnowiec, Ostrogórska 30 Street) from 5:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.:

• guided tour, discussion of librarian activities;
• classes in making flowerbeds from string;
• presentation and gameplay of board games with a medical theme and more. We have a wide range of games of varying difficulty. Come alone or with friends and have fun!
