Medical research information

The subject 'Medical Scientific Information' is taught in the first year of the Doctoral School.

The 15-hour exercises are led by qualified librarians working daily in the SUM Library. The instructors are the authors of the syllabus for the course. Exercises are held at the Centre for Didactics and Medical Simulation in Katowice-Ligota. On the SUM e-learning platform, instructors have uploaded teaching aids - authored and selected from those generally available on the Internet. In order to make access to knowledge as easy as possible, the librarians have prepared materials in two language versions - Polish and English. The exercises conclude with an online test to verify the acquired information. The test is also available in two language versions (Polish and English).
