The SUM Library encourages you to participate in the Open Data Day, which will take place on July 1st, 2024. The event is part of Knowledge Week, organised as one of the "50 Weeks in the City of Science" initiative. The City of Katowice and the University of Silesia organise the event.

The Open Data Day will feature panel discussions and workshops on topics including the following:

• Status of the implementation of the openness policy at Silesian universities.
• Knowledge and skills in the area of research data management.
• Sensitive data in research.
• European code of conduct for research integrity.

We are pleased to announce that Mr Krzysztof Gościniak, Head of Repository and Promotion of Open Science, SUM Library, will participate in the discussion on openness policy.
