Wiley Open Access Agreement (WOAA)
On April 28, 2025, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice joined the Wiley Open Access Agreement (WOAA) program, which enables authors affiliated with the University to receive funding from the University for open access publishing in Wiley journals.
Before registering the publication with the publisher, the author should obtain the consent of the University authorities to publish the article as part of the program, i.e., Translated with DeepL.com (free version) submit a request for funding for the publication to the Research Section of the Center for Science and International Cooperation of the Medical University of Silesia, in accordance with the procedures in force at the University.
After obtaining approval for publication funding, the author registers the publication on the publisher's website (submission). The final decision on eligibility for the program is made on the publisher's website by the program administrator at the Library of the Medical University of Silesia on the basis of information about the approval for publication provided by the Research Section.
