Open Access = Open Science = Open Access means being able to read scientific content without paying for access to it.

Publishers mostly pass on the costs of publishing in the Open Access model to authors in the form of article processing charge (APC). These fees can be covered by so-called national or institutional open publishing programmes.

The search engine for scientific journals covered by open publishing programmes – najnowsze narzędzie firmy Splendor (dostawcy systemu Expertus), który umożliwia wyszukiwanie czasopism z dowolną lub określoną punktacją ministerialną wraz z zawężeniem wyników do konkretnego wydawcy objętego programami Open Access. Bazę można przeszukać również za pomocą pełnego tytułu, słowa z tytułu lub numeru ISSN czasopisma.
