Open Access = Open Science = Open Access means being able to read scientific content without paying for access to it.
Publishers mostly pass on the costs of publishing in the Open Access model to authors in the form of article processing charge (APC). These fees can be covered by so-called national or institutional open publishing programmes.

The search engine for scientific journals covered by open publishing programmes - the latest tool from Splendor (the provider of the Expertus system), that allows users to search for scientific journals that are covered by open publishing programmes. It is possible to search for journals with any or specific ministerial score, and the results can be narrowed down to a specific publisher covered by Open Access programmes. The database can also be filtered by the full title, a word from the title, or the ISSN number of the journal.
Please, note! The full functionality of the search engine is available on the ŚUM internet network or via a remote access service (proxy).
Persons wanting to take up the possibility of funding for publication in the Open Access model are requested to read the following rules according to the publisher of the journal in which they want to publish.
