JoVE – now not only Education, but also Research!

Since the beginning of the year, our University has gained extended access to JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments). In addition to the previously available JoVE Education, offering high-quality educational videos, users now also have access to JoVE Research – a collection of peer-reviewed video articles presenting modern research methods in a step-by-step format.

Why use JoVE?

  • JoVE presents content in the form of short, professionally produced videos that clearly demonstrate complex laboratory procedures and research techniques.
  • Videos are great for helping people understand complex concepts where text descriptions and static illustrations aren't enough.

JoVE in teaching – support for educators:

  • The ability to incorporate JoVE videos into syllabi and classroom presentations.
  • Illustration of procedures before entering the laboratory – students can “see before they do.”
  • Supplementing lectures with modern multimedia content to increase engagement and understanding of the course material.
