Search engine for journals covered by open access publishing programmes

We would like to inform you about the availability of a new search engine for scientific journals covered by open publishing programmes (publishing fees may be covered in whole or in part by national or institutional programmes).

The tool was developed by Splendor (the provider of the Expertus system).
The full functionality of the search engine is available on the SUM internet network or via a remote access service (proxy).

The search engine allows users to:

  • search for journals with any or specific ministerial score,
  • limiting results to a specific publisher covered by Open Access programmes,
  • searching for journals from a specified discipline (listed in the ministerial list of scored journals),
  • search for a specific journal title — using the full title, a word from the title or the ISSN number.

The new tool aims to assist in selecting the appropriate journal for publishing an article that meets the scoring criteria, while utilising available funding programmes for open access publications.
