Peer Review Week was celebrated from 23 to 27 September, an event that aims to highlight the value of peer review in scientific publications and the role of professionals and researchers involved in the process.
The reviewer plays a key role in the dissemination of scientific research by ensuring the quality and credibility of the research. The peer review method is a qualitative method of evaluating scientific achievements and is the considered to be the most authoritative (1,3).

It is also a valuable platform for the exchange of experiences and for supporting researchers, publishers, editors and the academic community in contributing to the peer review process (2).
