Open Access = Open Science = Open Access means being able to read scientific content without paying for access to it.
Publishers mostly pass on the costs of publishing in the Open Access model to authors in the form of article processing charge (APC). These fees can be covered by so-called national or institutional open publishing programmes.

- journal ISSN.

Open publishing programmes of the Virtual Science Library (WBN)
They enable researchers affiliated with Polish scientific institutions to publish scientific articles in the Open Access model with financial and organisational support from a national consortium programme.

They allow authors to publish articles in scientific journals under the Open Access (OA) model, with the publication costs (APC) covered in part or in full by the University.
