Over the course of five meetings, led by specialists from the Department of Anatomy of the Faculty of Health Sciences in Katowice and the SUM Library Branch in Katowice-Ligota, participants learnt the ins and outs of various organ systems and gained skills in searching for reliable and credible information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project implemented a modern form of classes using multimedia techniques (films, e-books from the SUM Library, databases, slide shows and interactive animations) and anatomical models (virtual - in the form of 3D atlases, as well as traditional ones). The aim of the project was to demonstrate the attractiveness of modern science and to promote among students an attitude of actively developing their interests and expanding their knowledge in a competent manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project was carried out in collaboration with the Centre for Distance Learning and Analysis of Educational Outcomes at the SUM and the Department of Anatomy of the Faculty of Health Sciences in Katowice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
